• January 17: Youth Application opens 
• January 31 Employer Job Descriptions are due. Must use the Right Track hub to submit job posting.

February 

• February 1-28: Youth Apply for the program
• Mid-February: Employers (hiring supervisors) register to volunteer for youth interviews 
• February 28: Last day for Youth to apply. Application closes March 1.

March 

• March 3-16:  YJ2 Interviews 

April 

• Mid-April: Youth Orientation  (Date & Time TBD)

May 

• April-May: Youth Complete Payroll Paperwork (background checks, drug tests, etc.) before they start work in June.  
• May 6:  Internship Matches Finalized
• End or May: Mandatory YJ2 Supervisor Training (Time & Date TBD)

June 

• June 19 Juneteenth Holiday (No work for city employees) 
• June 20: Youth participate in mandatory Launch Day. (Do not schedule youth to work on these days) Paid by Employer
• June 21: First day of normal work starts. 

July 

• July 4: Holiday (No work for city employees) 

August 

• Early-Mid August: End of Summer Celebration 
• August 25 Last Day of the YJ2 internship program
