SPPD to offer regularly scheduled fingerprinting services

The Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD) is offering community members fingerprinting services on a regular and year-round basis. The service will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012. Anyone who would like to get a fingerprint card processed, which can be required for employment, passports or other instances, must supply a state driver's license, picture identification or a government issued identification card.

SPPD recognizes the importance of fingerprints for safety reasons, especially in the case of children, the police department is waiving the general $15 processing fee for children juveniles under 18 years of age. For children, a parent's or legal guardian's identification will serve as the supporting identification needed for fingerprinting services.
