Walk-in customers will enter through the Skyway hallway door. Signage guides customers, who are asked to form a single-file line to wait for available DSI staff.
Those customers who have scheduled appointments will be directed in advance to wait in the 2nd floor elevator lobby. DSI staff who have made an appointment will greet the customer in the lobby and escort them to meeting location.
There will be one Customer Service Specialist designated to serve at the front counter, plus four socially distanced Zoning/Plan Review customer service staff available.
Customers will be greeted when they enter through the Skyway door and assisted in identifying their needs and whether they need to find an application, make a payment, interact with staff, etc. Some business may be handled using a computer on hand in the front counter area.
Customers with an invoice or completed permit or license applications are directed to the next available Customer Service Specialist window. Customers with questions for Zoning/Building Plan Review (BPR) staff will be directed to to open Zoning/BPR Station.
