Mattocks Park

About Mattocks Park

A popular neighborhood park among locals, Mattocks Park has a little bit of everything for everyone. Two tennis courts, a half-court basketball court, and a playground and tot-lot can be found on the western half of the park. The remaining space can be utilized for games of softball, football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and more.

May Park is a 0.81 acre park surrounded by residential homes in the Hamline-Midway Neighborhood.  May Park was renovated in 2017.

Parque de Castillo

Redesigned in 2018, Parque de Castillo contains a play area, splash pad, public art, BBQ grills and picnic area for the enjoyment of visitors. It is adjacent to the new Gilbert de la O baseball and multi-use fields as well as El Rio Vista Recreation Center.

McQuillan Park

McQuillian Park Play AreaAbout McQuillan Park 

Visitors to McQuillan Park will find mature shade trees, open space, a tennis court and playground. The park was renovated in 2017 and is located in Saint Paul's Cathedral Hill neighborhood.

Mears Park

Mears Park StreamMears Park is located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul's Lowertown district. The park has a covered band shell with electricity, seasonal flower gardens, and a beautiful stream running diagonally through the park.

Kellogg Mall Park

Located in downtown Saint Paul, Kellogg Mall Park features two fountains, an arbor, and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, Harriet Island, and Raspberry Island. 

Newell Park

imageOne of the oldest parks in Saint Paul, Newell Park was dedicated in 1908. The park is named after Stanford Newell, attorney, member of the first Saint Paul Park Board, and U.S. Minister to the Netherlands from 1897 to 1906.

Holcombe Circle

Holcombe Circle is a traffic island bordering the northeast corner of Webster Park. The mini park is the centerpiece of the roundabout at the intersection of St. Albans Street and Laurel Avenue. The park is maintained by the Friends of Holcombe Circle.

Wheelock Parkway Triangles

Overview

Wheelock Parkway Triangles consist of two small, triangular-shaped parks surrounding Wheelock Parkway west of Lake Phalen.
