Partners are still needed to host or support youth internships this summer

SAINT PAUL - The City of Saint Paul has officially kicked off the 2020 Right Track summer internship season and will begin accepting applications for the youth jobs program beginning Saturday, February 1. Interested youth can apply online at righttrack-app.stpaul.gov.

Right Track provides summer jobs to Saint Paul youth ages 14 – 24 who live in cost burdened households or have a barrier to employment. Most internships begin on June 22 and run 6-9 weeks, depending on the position. All applications must be received by February 29.

"Right Track sets our youth up for successful careers and strengthens our city's future workforce," said Mayor Melvin Carter. "We encourage all Saint Paul employers to join us in expanding job training opportunities by hosting Right Track workers."

Right Track is still seeking partners to host or support youth internships this summer. Right Track provides training and support for both the youth participants and the businesses who commit to hosting an intern/interns over the summer. Businesses interested in learning more about how to host or support an intern can contact the Right Track team at 651-266-6363 or Right.Track@ci.stpaul.mn.us, or visit the website at stpaul.gov/righttrack..
