Mayor Carter Announces Curfew for
City of Saint Paul 
Effective 7:00 PM Tonight
Through 6:00 AM Tomorrow

SAINT PAUL, MN – Today, Mayor Melvin Carter issued Executive Order 2021-16, establishing a citywide curfew for the City of Saint Paul effective tonight, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13. During this curfew, all persons are prohibited from travel on any public street or in any public place. 

All law enforcement, fire and medical personnel, and members of the news media, as well as other persons authorized by the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Minnesota State Patrol, or Minnesota National Guard, are exempt from the curfew. Individuals traveling directly to and from work, seeking emergency care, fleeing dangerous circumstances, or experiencing homelessness are also exempt.
