Mr. McVay will serve as a non-voting member for a three-year term beginning June 11, 2025, and ending June 11, 2028. This appointment replaces Dana DeMaster, who served as Community Advisor from 2022 to 2025. The Audit Committee and City Council extend their sincere thanks to Ms. DeMaster for her dedicated service and warmly welcome Mr. McVay to the Committee.
“I’m excited to welcome Noah McVay as our newest advisor on the Audit Committee,” said Audit Committee Chair Rebecca Noecker. “His extensive experience with and interest in performance audits will be invaluable as we explore ways for the city to do its work better.”
Mr. McVay joins the committee with academic experience and research interests centered around public policy, administration, and finance. He is currently a licensed substitute teacher working in the Twin Cities metro. Prior to teaching, he worked as a nonprofit administrator for over seven years and previously served as a policy advisor to both Democratic and Republican candidates running for public office.
