At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers were called on the report of a shooting on the 2100 block of Scenic Place. An adult male was found on the street unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot injuries. Saint Paul Fire medics responded and rendered aid to the man, and Saint Paul police officers secured the area. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide investigators are working to determine what led to this incident. The forensic services and video management units will be processing the scene for evidence.
