Starting Monday, July 29, 2024, City of Saint Paul will close the Kellogg-3rd Street Bridge from Broadway Street to Mounds Boulevard to begin a three-year project that will remove and replace the entire bridge that connects the East Side to Downtown Saint Paul.

Shepard Road/Warner Road scheduled to reopen between Eagle Parkway and Hwy 61 on Wednesday, July 17 after 6 p.m.

The City of Saint Paul and community partners will celebrate the opening of a new multi-sport turf field tomorrow, Wed., July 10 at 5:00 p.m. at Jimmy Lee/Oxford Community Center. A vacant 2.2-acre parcel at 892 East 7th Street was awarded funding to clean up the site in preparation for a mixed-use redevelopment with commercial space and affordable housing.

As scheduled, minimum wage increases for large, small, and micro businesses go into effect today, July 1, 2024.

The redevelopment will bring 87 affordable apartments, over 25,000 square feet of commercial space, and 16 full-time jobs to the Greater East Side neighborhood.
