Maintenance of vehicles assigned to units within the department is the responsibility of the district and unit heads. Every effort is to be made by all concerned to cooperate in scheduling maintenance services to prevent an accumulation of squads at the garage. An Auto Repair Slip must be filled out on all repair requests with as much detail as possible. District and unit heads will ensure compliance with routine vehicle inspections and schedule maintenance services as needed.
