Shared Ownership Equity Summit

Earlier this year, OFE launched the LOCAL Fund: Worker Ownership and Community Ownership programs which uses a shared ownership approach to building community wealth and supports business retention. Shared ownership is a strategy that fuels vibrant and resilient local economies, creates quality jobs and addresses wealth and income inequality.

Money Action Day 2024

Money Action Day is a fun, family-oriented day that focuses on financial fitness for Twin Cities area residents.

This free, one-day event is designed to connect families to resources, tools, and support needed to reach their financial goals. It will include opportunities to connect to various resources including homeownership and building credit. There will be opportunities to schedule one-on-one meetings with financial experts and pull your credit report. There will also be family fun activities like face painting, crafts, games, food, raffles, and more!

Rent Stabilization

The City of Saint Paul’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance was approved by voters in November 2021, and was amended by City Council in September 2022 and May 2025. Changes to the law took effect on January 1, 2023 and June 13, 2025. Information about the Rent Stabilization Ordinance and summary of rules can be found on these pages.
