Parkland Ash Tree Management

Ash trees to be removed throughout the city’s parklands will be identifiable by having either a green ring around the tree or an X painted at chest height.  The majority of these trees will be removed from mown turf areas (e.g.: in picnic areas, or near play grounds), however some may be removed from wooded areas.

There will be ash trees identified in parks throughout the year that need to be removed in addition to the larger removal projects outlined above.
