2018 Permit lottery for Harriet Island’s Wigington Pavilion scheduled for December 1
Residents can apply for permits starting December 1; Non-residents on January 3
SAINT PAUL – City of Saint Paul residents and businesses can apply in person for 2018 Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion permits on December 1, 2016. The Parks Permit Office, located at 1100 North Hamline Ave., will open at 6 a.m. with lottery numbers issued from 6:00 a.m. to 6:59 a.m.
The move to add a permit lottery comes in response to high demand for rentals of the iconic 1941 Wigington Pavilion and aligns with industry standards.
Park permits will be issued starting at 7:00 a.m. to customers who have received a lottery number. Customers arriving after 7:00 a.m. will be issued permits on a first-come, first-served basis after all the lottery customers have been served.
Verification of a Saint Paul address is required to obtain a lottery number and to make a reservation on December 1. A second lottery will be held at the same time on January 3, 2017 for non-residents and businesses located outside of Saint Paul city limits.
