At approximately 2:38 a.m., multiple 911 callers reported shots being fired and that someone was shot. When officers arrived at the chaotic scene, they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers secured the scene and called for Saint Paul Fire medics, who later transported the victim to Regions Hospital. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Homicide Investigators are working to determine what led to this incident. The Forensic Services and Video Management Units will be processing the scene for evidence.

This is the 14th homicide of 2023 in Saint Paul.
