Mayor Carter Invites Community Members to  
Shape 2023 City Budget 

5 Virtual Gatherings to be Held this Spring for Community Members to Engage in  
Conversations About the 2023 City Budget 

SAINT PAUL – Today, Mayor Melvin Carter announced a series of 5 virtual community conversations this spring to engage members of our community in shaping our 2023 city budget.  

“The only way to ensure our budget reflects our shared values is to build it together,” said Mayor Carter. 

Led by the Office of Financial Services in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office, these 5 virtual community conversations will be held on Microsoft Teams, will be free, and open to the public. Community members interested in participating can register here.  

The dates and times of these sessions include:  
 

  • Saturday, May 7 – 10-11 a.m. 

  • Thursday, May 12 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. 

  • Tuesday, May 19 – 9-10 a.m. 

  • Tuesday, May 24 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. 

  • Thursday, June 2 – 6:30-7:30 p.m.
