Mayor Melvin Carter Announces State of Our City Summit


Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter Will Give His First Annual City Address at a State of Our City Summit on Saturday, April 14 at Johnson Senior High School
The Summit Will Feature Community Panel Discussions Focused on the Administration’s Core Pillars of Economic Justice, Lifelong Learning, and Community-First Public Safety


SAINT PAUL -- Mayor Melvin Carter invites residents of all ages to the State of Our City Summit on Saturday, April 14 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Johnson Senior High School in Saint Paul.

“Our first annual State of Our City Summit is an opportunity for residents from our across Saint Paul to join the conversation about the future of our city,” said Mayor Carter. “With increasing national division, in Saint Paul, we champion local unity, and our summit invites everyone to join us in moving forward together.” 

Mayor Carter will give his first State of Our City Address, then invite attendees to participate in community panel discussions focused on the administration's core pillars of economic justice, lifelong learning, and community-first public safety. The Summit is free and family-friendly.
