Description
The project will install new on-street electric vehicle charging stations at five Gold Line station areas on the East Side of Saint Paul. Each charging station will include two dual-port level 2 chargers, with one charger dedicated to Evie carshare and the other dedicated to public charging.
Location
Five electric vehicle charging stations located near Gold Line stations on the East Side of Saint Paul:
Mounds Boulevard Station - on Conway Street south of Maria Avenue
Earl Street Station - corner of Cypress Street and Hudson Road
Etna Street Station - on English Street between Wilson Avenue and Euclid Street
Hazel Street Station - location to be determined
Sunray Transit Center - on Pederson Street north of Hudson Road

A variety of socio-economic, geographic, and logistical factors were considered in choosing the locations of the EV Spots along the Gold Line, including distance to the transit stop and activity areas, and avoiding driveways and loading zones.
