Description
The City of Saint Paul is reconstructing Pleasant Avenue and Victoria Street from St Clair Avenue to Jefferson Avenue in 2025. The project includes replacement of the pavement and underground utilities along the corridor, reworking storm water retention infrastructure, and constructing new pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

The St. Clair Avenue and Pleasant Avenue intersection was closed on Monday, April 20. The closure is anticipated to last through May 8.

To ensure long-lasting, durable concrete, please do not use salt or ice melt on newly poured sidewalks and roads this winter. Your participation is important to the quality and longevity of the concrete surfaces.

Access to parking at Sussel Garages, located at 871 Jefferson Avenue, remains temporarily closed due to ongoing sanitary sewer work
During this closure, visitors to the building may park south of Jefferson Avenue along the shoulder
The on-ramp and off-ramps at Victoria Street and I-35E were closed on Saturday, August 2
This initiated the contractor’s 45-day closure window
The ramps are expected to reopen the week of September 15, weather and conditions permitting

Sub-cutting operations were completed from Victoria Street South to Benhill Road
Deep sanitary sewer installation is actively underway along Victoria Street and is expected to be completed by the end of this week
