The City of Saint Paul is committed to being a leader in the deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure. Electric vehicles support the city’s broader sustainability mission and will help us achieve our goal of a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020.
Locations
Saint Paul has installed 23 public stations for charging all-electric and hybrid electric vehicles, and additional stations are being installed by other private and public entities.

Using Charging Stations
Saint Paul offers two types of charging stations: Coulomb ChargePoint and Eaton Pow-R Stations, which can provide either Level 1 (standard) or Level 2 (32A max current) charging.
Coulomb ChargePoint
Coulomb stations can be accessed three ways.
1) Call 877-370-3802
2) Use a contactless credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, or American Express)
3) Obtain a ChargePass card through Coulomb by calling 877-370-3902 or by registering at chargepoint.net
Eaton Pow-R Stations
Eaton stations can be accessed using a key fob provided by the ramp manager at an hourly rate or monthly contract. Parking rates, time limits, reservation options, and charging types can be found on our table of existing charging stations.
