Overview

This license is for businesses using a building or part thereof for the application of flammable finishes by means of spraying, dipping, or brushing. This license includes silk screening. If you have questions, contact DSI at 651-266-8989, or email the DSI Message Center.

    • Proof of current Secretary of State registration and Assumed Name Filing
    • Business Purchase Agreement (Only for Change of Ownership applications)
    • Property Lease / rental agreement or proof of ownership

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Safety Division (Phone: 651-266-8989), Licensing (Phone: 651-266-8989), and Zoning (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration/Renewal

A Furniture Finishing Shop License will expire one year from date of issuance and may be renewed annually.
