About Barack and Michelle Obama Park
Barack and Michelle Obama Park is located adjacent to Obama Elementary School in the Summit-University neighborhood. Barack and Michelle Obama Park, formerly known as Webster Park, was renamed in 2025 to align the school and park names to strengthen the shared identity of this community resource, honor the contributions of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and better reflect the legacy of the school-park partnership that has served families and students for nearly 50 years.
