Video Clip: Terence Blanchard & The E-Collective perform 'Breathless' live in KPLU Studio
The JazzMN Orchestra is pleased to feature Grammy award-winning artist Terence Blanchard as they open their 2016-17 concert season on October 1st at the Ordway Concert Hall. Also joining the season opener will be Twin Cities favorite, vocalist Connie Evingson. Blanchard brings a rich background from his New Orleans roots, to his hard bop performances with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, to his introspective movie scores for director Spike Lee. The new 900-seat Ordway Concert Hall provides an intimate setting where audiences can experience the live acoustic experience and the full range of power and beauty of the JazzMN Orchestra.
