EVENT 832 - RFB - PW - DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC SIGNAL ENHANCEMENTS
EVENT CLOSE DATE & TIME: Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00:00 PM CST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Labor and materials for the Downtown Traffic Signal Enhancements project. Work to consist of fiber-optic interconnect, dynamic message signs, and traffic signal equipment and revisions. 

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM CST at the Public Works Municipal Equipment Garage located at 891 Dale St. N., St. Paul, MN 55103, 2nd Floor Conference Room. A bid bond of 5% is required.

Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders:

"It is hereby agreed between the parties that this agency will require affirmative action requirements be met by contractors in relation to Minnesota Statute 363A.36 and Minnesota Rules 5000.3600. Failure by a contractor to implement an affirmative action plan or make a good faith effort shall result in revocation of its certificate or revocation of the contract (Minnesota Statute 363A.36, Subd. 2 and 3)."

A minimum goal of 14.6% Good Faith Effort to be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

EVENT 833 - RFB - PARKS - MIDWAY PEACE PARK
EVENT CLOSE DATE & TIME: Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00:00 PM CST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: City of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department is in need of work at the Midway Peace Park. Project consists of erosion and sedimentation control, removals, site layout, earthwork, concrete work, fencing, paving, precast concrete, storm water drainage, basketball court, site furnishings, electrical, irrigation, play area amenities, retaining walls, fine grading and landscaping.  A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held on June 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint Paul City Hall, Room 280. Contractors will be required to go through security to access City Hall and should avoid carrying sharp objects or metal items. Allow ample time for parking. A 5% Bid Bond is required.

EVENT 837 - RFB - PARKS - PARK ASH TREE REMOVAL

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Removal of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) trees on park property throughout the City.  A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Monday, June 17th at 9:00 AM CST at St. Paul Park Department Operations, 1100 Hamline Ave N., St. Paul, MN 55108. Parking available in the small lot on the corner of Hamline Ave & Jessamine Ave.  Building entrance on Jessamine Ave.  You will need to ring the doorbell.

EVENT 836 - RFB - PARKS - FROGTOWN RECREATION CENTER PHASE II
EVENT CLOSE DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00:00 PM CST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project shall consist of temporary erosion and sediment controls, tree protection, earthwork, bituminous surfacing, concrete, fencing, utilities, play area, athletic field and court installations, modular concrete retaining wall, landscaping, site furnishings, electric and lighting systems, and renovation of the southwest right turn lane of the Como/Marion Intersection. Installation of artificial turf surface for athletic field and sepak takraw court, play equipment, and poured-in place rubber surfacing for play area to be completed by others. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM CST at the Scheffer Recreation Center, 237 Thomas Ave W., St. Paul, MN 55103. A 5% Bid Bond is required.

EVENT 835 - RFQ - PARKS - NEW CAMERA SYSTEM AT DAYTON'S BLUFF RECREATION

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of St. Paul Department of Parks and Recreation requests quotes for the install of new camera system at Dayton's Bluff Recreation Center. EVENT 792 - RFB - RIVERCENTRE - 2019 RIVERCENTRE PARKING RAMP REPAIRS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Repairs to the RiverCentre Parking Ramp includng beam, column, and concrete repairs. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM CST. The meeting will be held on site at 150 Kellogg Blvd. W., St. Paul, MN 55102, please meet outside of the Parking Managers Office located in the parking ramp. A 5% Bid Bond is required.

EVENT 845 - RFB - PW - ARLINGTON AVE PED RAMP PROJECT REBID
EVENT CLOSE DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 2:00:00 PM CST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contract for labor and materials for Arlington Avenue and Cesar Chavez St. (optional). Work to consist of concrete curb and gutter, drainage structures and sidewalks.  A 5% BID BOND IS REQUIRED.

EVENT 740 - RFB - PARKS - LILYDALE PICNIC SHELTER
EVENT CLOSE DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 2:00:00 PM CST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the Lilydale Picnic Shelter. The project includes two single-story buildings: an open picnic pavilion structure and a restroom/storage building. Bituminous-surfaced trails will also be included in the development.  A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at Lilydale Regional Park, 950 Water St West, St. Paul, MN 55118 on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 1:00pm.  We will meet at the roundabout at the south side of the parking lot of the Pickerel Lake boat launch near the project site. A 5% Bid Bond is required.
