Protecting public health and safety is a priority for the City of Saint Paul as we have worked with our staff to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and its variants. Most of our services may be accessed online or over the phone. The Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) continues to create new ways to serve in alignment with public health guidance throughout all phases of the pandemic.
We support limited public contact; however, customers who need to come into DSI’s offices at 375 Jackson will enter from the skyway. Customer Lobby hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A drop box for forms, plans and more is onsite, as well as a phone if you have questions. For everyone’s safety and to slow the spread:
Masks are welcome at DSI offices and encouraged for visitors and staff who are not fully vaccinated;
We socially distance at DSI; and
We ask you to refrain from visiting us if you are sick.
Customers are advised to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Preservation (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health to ensure the safety of all Saint Paul residents and visitors.
