SPPD Note

The Saint Paul Police Department agrees that law enforcement can benefit from officer peer review, similar to peer review used by health professionals to improve practice in a non-punitive setting. Legislative changes allowing privileged peer review is necessary to enable law enforcement agencies to implement a meaningful process for officer participation.
