Deeply affordable housing at Highland Bridge moves forward

On Wednesday, April 14, the Saint Paul City Council unanimously initiated the establishment of two Affordable Housing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts at Highland Bridge (formerly known as the “Ford Site”). This exciting and important step will help provide deeply affordable housing units on the Highland Bridge site, following the original vision in the Ford Site Zoning and Public Realm Master Plan.

Mayor Carter Announces Curfew for City of Saint Paul Effective 7:00 PM Tonight Through 6:00 AM Tomorrow

Mayor Melvin Carter has issued Executive Order 2021-16, establishing a citywide curfew for the City of Saint Paul effective tonight, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13. During this curfew, all persons are prohibited from travel on any public street or in any public place. 

SPPD Auto Care Clinic helps drivers make their catalytic converters and license plates less appealing to would-be thieves

The SPPD Auto Care Clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the North Lot of Allianz Field Stadium (400 Snelling Ave. N.). Members of the police department’s Community Engagement Unit and Crimes Against Property Unit will be on hand to mark catalytic converters and install theft-prevention screws in license plates.
