Past Swap Events

1. Party Supply Swap

   In summer 2024, Saint Paul hosted a Party Supply Swap at the Palace Community Center. Almost 100 people attended and brought decorations, service ware, formal clothing, and more to be shared and reused. 

   Details to come on how many items were saved from being wasted. 

2. Arts & Crafts Swap 2024

   In spring 2024, Saint Paul hosted an Arts & Crafts Swap at the Arlington Hills Community Center. Over 100 attendees brought yarn, cloth, scrapbook supplies, painting supplies, and much more to the event. Attendees left with new-to-them treasures to make their next masterpiece. 

   This event kept an estimated 1,857 pounds of items out of the garbage! Anything left unclaimed at the end of the event was donated. Thank you for your attendance!

   

3. Holiday Swap 2023

   In winter 2023, Saint Paul hosted a Holiday Swap for employees at City Hall. Over 80 attendees brought decorations, gift bags, ornaments, and other holiday items to be swapped.

   This event kept over 200 items out of the garbage! Anything left unclaimed at the end of the event was donated. Thank you to those who attended!

   

4. Book, Game, and Music Swap 2023

   In fall 2023, Saint Paul hosted a Book, Game, and Music Swap. Over 200 attendees brought books of all kinds, CDs, cassette tapes, records, magazines, board games, and puzzles to the event. Attendees left with new books to read, music to listen to, and games to play!

   This event kept an estimated 3,115 items out of the garbage! Anything left unclaimed at the end of the event was donated. Thank you for your attendance! 

   

   
    

5. Household Goods Swap 2023

   In spring 2023, Saint Paul hosted a Household Goods Swap for employees at City Hall. 38 employees attended, bringing kitchen items and small household items to be shared.

   This event kept 270 items out of the garbage! Anything left unclaimed at the end of the event was donated. Thank you to those who attended!
