Description
Curtice Street will have road improvements in 2023 to address drainage issues. Improvements will include:

  • Concrete curb and gutter on north side
  • Sidewalk reconstruction on north side
  • Sewer and water main replacement or repair
  • Roadway pavement

    New Sidewalks: No Salt

    Please refrain from using salt to remove ice on new concrete installed this year.  Salt will harm newly installed concrete and increase freeze/thaw cycles which can do further damage.

    We appreciate your assistance in helping maintain the new sidewalks.

    Project Updates

    Water Main Replacement

    As part of the road reconstruction project, Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS) will be replacing the water main on Curtice Street. To continue to ensure the reliability of our system, SPRWS will be replacing the existing 6" cast iron water main with 8" ductile iron pipe. The scope of the main replacement work is as follows:

    • Replace approximately 1,100 feet of 6" cast iron water main with 8" ductile iron
    • Replace necessary valves and hydrants in the project area
