   Como Regional Park Pool & Highland Park Aquatic Center

   Two scholarships per session are available for all swimming lesson sessions at Como Regional Park Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center.

   Como Regional Park Pool 

   Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is partnering with Abbey's Hope, Westside Boosters, JK Movement, and Sol of the Cities to award 300 youth scholarships for an introductory swimming lesson and water safety program. Youth must live in Saint Paul.

   July 24 - August 4*
   Monday-Thursday
   9am, 10am, or 11am 
   *Fridays are rain make-up days

5. Open Swim Hours

   About Open Swim

   • No pre-registration is necessary.
   • Children under the age of 12 must always be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 12-14 must have an adult check-in with the aquatics manager on duty prior to leaving the facility.
   • See "daily admission rates" above for prices. 

   Early Season Hours

   Weather permitting, Highland Park Aquatic Center will be open regular open swim hours (see below) on May 28-29, June 3-4, and June 10-11. The pool will be open for morning water aerobics and lap swim ONLY on June 12-14 - no open swim.

6. Lap Swim Hours

   About Lap Swim

   • No pre-registration is necessary.
   • 50 meter, 8-lane lap pool (8 lanes available except when noted in the hours below).
   • Max of 4 people per lap lane, first come first serve.
   • Fee is $8 or included with all-access aquatics memberships.

   Early Season Hours

   Weather permitting, Highland Park Aquatic Center will be open regular lap swim hours (see below) on May 28, June 3-4, and June 10-11. There will be morning lap swim ONLY on May 29. The pool will be open for morning water aerobics and lap swim ONLY on June 12-14.

7. Water Aerobics

   About Water Aerobics

   • No pre-registration is necessary.
   • Open to all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
   • Class is most effective when a participant is able to stand with their head above water in the shallow end of the pool.
   • Fee is $8 or included with all-access aquatics memberships.

   Early Season Hours

   Weather permitting, Highland Park Aquatic Center will be open regular water aerobics hours (see below) on May 28, June 3-4, and June 10-11. The pool will be open for morning water aerobics ONLY on May 29 and June 12-14.

8. Tot Time Hours

   About Tot Time

   Tot Time is a time just for kids ages 6 and under and the adults that love them! This designated time for our youngest swimmers takes place on Sundays from 9:30am - 11am. Only the splash pad will be open for Tot Time swimming. Cost is $4 per child and $4 for the accompanying adult.

11. Group Reservations & Aquatic Facility Rentals

    Group Reservations

    Saint Paul Parks and Recreation will begin taking requests for group reservations at Como Regional Park Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center on June 5, 2023. Please review the following guidelines for group reservations:

    • Advance group reservations will only be accepted if the requested reservation meets facility capacity projections for the requested date(s).
    • Reservations requests will only be accepted a maximum of one week in advance.
    • Payment must be made in full at the time of the reservation. Note: no refunds will be issued for unused reservations unless it is the result of a weather or facility related closure.  

    These updated policies are in response to record demand and usage of our aquatic facilities, balancing the equitable usage of public infrastructure, and ensuring that payment for services is collected.

    To request a group reservation, please call Como at 651-489-0378 or Highland at 651-695-3773, and ask to speak with an aquatic supervisor. 

    Aquatic Facility Rentals

    Summer aquatic facility rentals at Como Regional Park Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center will not approved until Monday, May 8, 2023 to ensure our staffing levels are able to accommodate rental requests in addition to public programs. Please submit your request to ParksAquatics@ci.stpaul.mn.us for future consideration.

    Please note, "aquatic facility rentals" refers to renting the entire facility for events such as swim competitions. We are not renting sun shelters at this time. Sun shelters are available on a first come, first served basis.
