Some yard waste stops were missed on Friday, June 13. They will be picked up Saturday morning, June 14. Please leave your materials out for collection. If your yard waste is not picked up by the end of the day Saturday, June 14, please contact us.

We collect garbage and recycling between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please contact us after 6 p.m. or the next day if your garbage and recycling hasn't been collected. For collection schedule, use the Collection Calendar for Holiday Delays & Every-other-Week Schedule

Holiday Collection Delay

Due to the Juneteenth holiday on June 19, garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection routes on Thursday (6/19) and Friday (6/20) will be delayed by one day.

  • Thursday routes will be collected on Friday (6/20)
  • Friday routes will be collected on Saturday (6/21)

Why Was My Collection Missed?

Here are some issues that might prevent your garbage and recycling from being collected:

  • Time: Carts not out by 6 a.m.
  • Placement: Carts too close to each other or other structures.
    • Must have three feet of clearance on all sides.
    • Must be less than four feet from the curb or alley edge.
  • Contamination: Items that don't belong in carts.
  • Overflow: Cart is overflowing with the lid open.

You have several options for disposing of extra waste and recycling, whether you've missed a collection or have more materials than normal. 


Holiday Collection Schedule

Garbage and recycling collection is delayed by one day during holiday weeks. If the holidays listed below happen on a weekday, and your collection day is on or after that day, your collection will be delayed by one day that week.

  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day
