We are a proud working-class community, diverse across race, class, gender and age. We are proud of our business community, with forming business corridors are along Maryland Ave, White Bear Ave, Payne Ave, and Arcade St. From retail and restaurants to service providers and industry, Ward 6 has a lot to offer. Our neighborhoods include Frost Lake, Hayden Heights, Hazel Park, Payne/Phalen, Phalen Village, and Prosperity. Our community is also home to beautiful park and recreation spaces, including Saint Paul's largest park and lake, Phalen Regional Park! People here are proud to be called East-Siders.
