Project Overview
The City of Saint Paul's Parks and Recreation Department is working in partnership with the Saint Paul Parks Conservancy and KABOOM!! to renovate the existing play area in the center of Newell Park.
This project will include new play equipment, surfacing, benches, and ADA-accessible entries.

The demolition of the existing play equipment has begun at Newell Park in preparation for this fall's KABOOM! volunteer Build Day. Please stay tuned for more information about this event which will take place on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026.
