Project Overview

The City of Saint Paul is writing a new long-range plan for Harriet Island Regional Park to guide park investments for the next 20-30 years. Plan recommendations will highlight connections between people and place, honoring the historical significance of the park, the diverse community of neighbors, and unique setting of the park along the Mississippi River.

As a park within Metropolitan Council's regional parks system, a plan must be approved for every regional park in the seven county regional area.  See Metropolitan Council's website for more information.
