SPRWS is committed to maintaining a reliable and efficient water system for our community. To extend the life of our existing infrastructure and prevent disruptions, we perform ‘cleaning and lining’ projects on aging water mains. These projects involve the cleaning and lining of existing cast iron water mains, a process that effectively refurbishes pipes from the inside, reducing leaks and improving water quality without the need for full replacement.

The scope of this project includes:

Cleaning and lining of approximately 5,120 feet of cast iron water main to prevent corrosion and enhance water quality.
Installation or replacement of valves and hydrants to enhance water flow and accessibility for emergency services.
Repair and restoration of affected street pavement, curbs, and sidewalks to ensure public safety and accessibility.
