Hillcrest Community Advisory Committee

The Hillcrest Community Advisory Committee provides feedback to City staff and consultants throughout the master planning process. Topics include land use priorities, street and trail networks, open space and neighborhood connections. Members are expected to engage with and speak on behalf of the communities they represent.

The committee will be made up of approximately 10 members appointed by the Mayor, with targeted membership including:

  • 5 Saint Paul residents (Renters, homeowners, and/or business owners)
  • 1-2 Maplewood residents
  • 1 housing representative
  • 1 multi-modal transportation representative¬†
  • 1 business representative (Business owner, or business association staff)
  • 1 Planning Commissioner

Roles are subject to change depending on applications received. The committee aims to be reflective of the age, race and gender diversity of the Greater East Side.

Committee work starts in October. Meetings will be one Tuesday a month from 5-6:30 p.m. Scheduling may change as needed.
