Overview
The Neighborhood STAR Board reviews, interviews, and makes funding recommendations to the Mayor and City Council for approval.
The board comprises 21 members appointed by the Mayor for four-year terms. City residency is required and Minnesota State Law requires three representatives to be appointed from each City Council ward.
For 2026, the Neighborhood STAR Board will meet every third Friday from 8:30 am - 10:30 am at the Frogtown Community Center (230 Como Ave, St. Paul, MN 55103), except as follows: there will be no meetings in July and August; in October the board will instead meet on the second Friday of the month.
