Overview
The East Side Area Business Association (ESABA) is currently working in collaboration with their community partners to provide relief to local business during the MnDOT led reconstruction of Arcade Street and East 7th Street, while also building future resiliency along the Arcade Street, Maryland Avenue, and 7th Street East corridor.
The majority of ESABA’s commercial corridor funds will be sub-granted directly to impacted business through the Business Mitigation Fund. ESABA is working closely with the East Side Neighborhood Development Company (ESNDC) to administer the fund, which was seeded with a $250,000 State grant. In addition to providing direct financial support, ESABA will use their grant to launch a marketing and promotional campaign to utilize various outreach methods to share information on resources available to impacted businesses and provide them with additional support.
