American Lung Association
American Lung Association works to reduce the impact of fuel and vehicle emissions on public health. As host of the Minnesota Clean Cities Coalition, part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program, the organization works to increase the use of electric vehicles and the availability of charging stations.
City of Minneapolis
The City of Minneapolis is working with the City of Saint Paul to help design this service and host the EV Spot Network in our two cities.
East Metro Strong
East Metro Strong is a public-private partnership of businesses, cities, and counties working together to bring more and better transit investment to the East Metro and catalyze job growth and economic development opportunities.
HOURCAR
HOURCAR is a locally based non-profit that introduced carshare to the Twin Cities in 2005. They currently have over 50 vehicles throughout Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Rochester with a variety of hybrid and gasoline powered vehicles to choose from. Trips are available as short as 30 minutes and as long as 3 days with reservations up to 6 months in advance. In late 2021, HOURCAR announced the Access PLUS plan, an income-based plan with self-certification acceptance.
Xcel Energy
Xcel Energy provides energy to millions of homes and businesses across eight Western and Midwestern states. The company is leading the clean energy transition across all the ways it powers people’s lives, from its vision to deliver 100% clean electricity by 2050 to reducing emissions from its natural gas service and making it more affordable and convenient to use electric transportation as it works toward powering 1.5 million EVs by 2030. Xcel Energy’s annual Sustainability Report details its progress.
