City ordinance states that companies performing tree care in Saint Paul are required to be licensed through the Department of Safety and Inspections.
Contact DSI to verify a tree care company is licensed at: 651-266-8989, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm. If a company is not licensed, they may not be properly bonded and insured.
- Forestry recommends that you hire a company with an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist on staff.
