About Youth Basketball Registration
Youth basketball registration opens September 1. Register online or in- person at your recreation center.
Registration is FREE for ages 9 and up!
Eliminating these fees allows Saint Paul youth to have access to quality programming, encourages healthy and active lifestyles, builds confidence, and creates community. (Please note that fees apply for other ages but you can save by utilizing the Early Bird Discount and registering in the first 5 days of registration.)

- Sept 1 = 25% off
- Sept 2 = 20% off
- Sept 3-5 = 10% off
Participants may register on the sports team which aligns with their gender identity. Participants who do not identify as male or female may register on the sports team of their choice.
Additional Information
U10-U14 practices usually start in late October/early November and are held one to two times a week immediately after school or in later in the evening. Practice times are set based on gym and coach's availability. U4-U8 and U18 leagues begin in January.
Age Guidelines
The date used to determine a player's eligibility for a league is February 17 of the current season. For example, to play in 10U, a player cannot turn 11 on or before February 17 of the season they are playing.

Schedules will be posted before the start of the season.
