Saint Paul Parks and Recreation offers fun programs to keep youth and families active and engaged during fall, winter, and spring breaks as well as other days when Saint Paul Public Schools are not in session.​

No-School Days

No-school day programs will be offered on the following days when Saint Paul Public Schools are not in session:

  • April 3-7 (Spring Break)

Programs and offerings may vary for each date. Check back for additional offerings as they are finalized. Recreation center hours may differ on no-school days.

Spring Break Open Gym Open Gym Tot Times Pickleball 

Open Swim at Great River Water Park

Great River Water Park is offering open swim, April 3-7 from 1:30-5:30pm. Price is $7/person. Ages 2 and under are free. 

Rec Check

Rec Check is a free after-school program for youth in grades 1-5. On the dates listed above when Saint Paul Public Schools are not session, Rec Check will take place from 1 - 4pm.

Rec Check Extended

Rec Check Extended offers full-day care at three sites from 8:30am - 5pm during select no-school days. The cost is $10/day. 

S'more Fun

S'more Fun is a recreational childcare program providing structured and unstructured activities designed to help children pursue their own interests, develop friendships, gain confidence, and build independence in a safe, comfortable, and fun atmosphere. S'more Fun offers full-day care when Saint Paul Public Schools are not in session.
