About Fitness in the Parks

Fitness in the Parks is a free outdoor exercise program that brings a variety of fitness activities to many of Saint Paul’s beautiful parks. Getting started is easy. Just pick a class you like and show up! There is no registration required and classes are open to all fitness levels. All ages welcome and no experience is necessary. July 16 & 30 - Zumba at Phalen Park at 6:00 p.m. Canceled July 26 - Strong by Zumba at Phalen Park at 6:00 p.m. Canceled. 

  • Last 6 p.m. Zumba class at Phalen Park will be July 23rd. Last 6 p.m. STRONG by Zumba class will be July 20th.
  • Yoga at Mears Park at 11:00 a.m. at Mears Park is canceled for the Summer
  • Rise & Flow Yoga (Tues @ 8 a.m. - Como), Sunset Yoga (Thurs @ 7:45 p.m. - Crosby), and Power Yoga (Sat @ 10 a.m. - Highland) have ben canceled for the Summer
  • bodyART on Mondays at Noon at Mears Park with The Resistance Movement has been canceled for the Summer
  • Walking Club with YMCA East at Phalen has moved from Wednesday to Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
  • Tabata (Tues @ 5:30 p.m.) and Zumba (Weds @ 6:30 p.m.) at Mears Park have been canceled for the Summer

  • **NEW AT CHEROKEE REGIONAL PARK** Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. - Stability & Core Conditioning with Mia of St. Paul Parks and Recreation
  • **NEW AT PHALEN REGIONAL PARK** Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. - Total Body Fitness with Mia of St. Paul Parks and Recreation - Wednesdays 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. - BootCamp with Annie from YMCA East
  • **NEW AT HOMECROFT PARK** June 11, July 16, August 13 at 5:30 p.m. - Bootcamp with Hollie from St. Paul Jewish Community Center
