About Fitness in the Parks
Fitness in the Parks is a free outdoor exercise program that brings a variety of fitness activities to many of Saint Paul’s beautiful parks. Getting started is easy. Just pick a class you like and show up! There is no registration required and classes are open to all fitness levels. All ages welcome and no experience is necessary. Baraza is a ten week program to promote and motivate women towards healthier lifestyles.
Fitness in the Parks classes are led by local businesses and fitness instructors who have partnered with the City of Saint Paul. Our 2016 partners include: The Resistance Movement, American Strength Training Center, Tula Yoga and Wellness, Saint Paul Athletic Club, Express Fitness, Heaven on Earth Healing, St. Paul East Side YMCA, Como Park Yoga & Wellness, I Love Kickboxing, YWCA of St. Paul, Herbachamp Fit Camp, Capture the Flag, Rooted & Rising, Vanjie & Carol T’ai Chi Chih, Marlene Vernon T’ai Chi Chih, Seven Spokes Bike Shop, Naked Nina's Nutrient Bar, and Corepower Yoga.
