The Harriet Island Event Office oversees rentals and reservations for several beautiful locations on and alongside the Mississippi River. These locations include Harriet Island Regional Park, Raspberry Island Regional Park, Upper Landing Park, and Kelley's Landing. See below for specifics on how to reserve space for your event.

3) Fill Out a Rental Application
The following rental applications are to be used for small events. Small events at Harriet Island will have no more than 500 guests. Public events at Harriet Island Regional Park and all large events will require a Large Event Grounds Permit that can be acquired through the Harriet Island Event Office (public/large events will require the permit holder to go through a proposal process).

*Applications are only valid for private events. For public or large events please visit the Harriet Island Large/Public Event tab for an event proposal form and information on the rental process. Rental rates are listed in the permit applications above. Rental rates, service fees, and insurance limits are subject to increase without notice depending on event details.

4) Submit a Rental Application
In order to reserve the Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion we require the completed permit application and deposit. After the First Business Day lotteries, reservations are made on a first-come first-serve basis. Reservations must be processed at least 14 days prior to the proposed permit date. Send completed application to harrietisland@ci.stpaul.mn.us.
5) Read Additional Information
Information about floor plans, catering, alcohol licensing, ceremony rehearsals, decorating, quantities and sizes of tables and chairs, final meetings and pavilion dimensions can be found in the documents below.

We are so very happy we hosted guests from around the world at the stunning Harriet Island Pavilion for our wedding! Brittany was an incredible expert about the space and our event—she met us with enthusiasm, kindness, and always helpful information. The space is inherently beautiful, but we really enjoyed the flexibility that came with the ability to select each vendor who made the day magical. It was also very important to us for our dog to be included in our day and the HIP team and space made that fun and so easy. HIP has clear information publicly available on their website and Brittany is a reliable resource for putting the many pieces together to make for a smooth and memorable day! THANK YOU to the whole Harriet Island team for making our day so magical!

Harriet Island is the perfect place to get married! This venue gave us the flexibility to bring in any vendor we wanted; so our day was more than perfect. The staff was professional, experienced, and prompt to get back with any questions right away. No hidden fees for a more than reasonable price!

Harriet island was so amazing on our wedding day! Our day went so smoothly and we had multiple compliments about how great the venue was. We really loved how they were willing to work with so many vendors and really let us make it the wedding of our dreams. Not only was it in the perfect location, but it also had a ton of free parking that our guests appreciated. I loved the ability to use both outdoor and indoor spaces.

I can't express how lovely Harriet Island Pavilion was for our wedding! The event staff leading up to the event was immensely helpful giving recommendations for vendors and clear deadlines for deposits, floor plans, etc. The day of the event, we ended up having to move the ceremony inside due to cold weather which went super smooth and was just as beautiful as it would have been on the outdoor patio. The event staff had to rearrange our floor plan to accommodate the change, and it was already completed by our arrival at 10am. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was and it required minimal decorations since the venue itself is gorgeous. Five stars!
