Express Fitness

imageExpress Fitness is a low-cost fitness program available at select Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Centers. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and will receive one-on-one and group consultation. Each class is designed to educate individuals about health and fitness and how to make the necessary lifestyle changes to remain healthy without straining your wallet. Each class fosters an environment of judgment free support for each member.

There is an outdoor fitness course set up at Griggs Park at 1188 Hubbard Avenue. Stop by and get some fresh air and a workout. The workout will change regularly, and courses will be added to new locations. If you'd like to see an example of what a workout may look like, please watch this video.

  • Jimmy Lee Community Center
    • Vinyasa Yoga - Thursday's at 7:00 p.m. with Caleb (Classes on hold - To resume on 2/36)
  • MLK Recereation Center
    • ​​Vinyasa Yoga - Wednesday's at 6:30 p.m. with Grace (changed from 6:00 p.m.)
  • Palace Community Center
    • Yoga - Wednesday's at 6:00 p.m. with Sandy (Classes on hold - To resume on 3/24)


  • $4 per session
  • $30 for 12 passes
  • $50 for 20 passes
  • Senior Fitness classes are free


Classes are drop-in. No pre-registration is necessary. Classes are subject to change without notice; contact the recreation center to confirm.
