ECOARTS FEST-May 14, 2016
ArtStart's EcoArts is a free outdoor arts and environmental celebration bringing together diverse communities to celebrate, honor, and advance conservation of the environment through the arts, the 2016 EcoArts Fest welcomes two new partners –Wishes for the Sky and Arbor Day. Together the partners are forging one of the most dynamic family-oriented events in the Twin Cities.
Young students will showcase their art work in an opening pageant; artists engage the public in meaningful interactive art experiences inspired by river ecology; environmental groups present hands-on learning activities and, intergenerational cultural groups present dances and musical performances honoring the earth and the unique contributions. FAST AND THE FURRY 8k/5k- May 21, 2016
A premier Twin Cities’ outdoor pet-friendly event! Runners, walkers and their pups participate in a 5K run/walk or 8K run at Kelley's Landing. More than just an athletic event, the event directly benefits our contributing charity, People and Pets Together, and provides a unique fundraising opportunities for other MN-based animal charities!
TWIN CITIES BURGER BATTLE-May 21, 2016
The third annual Twin Cities Burger Battle returns to St. Paul on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Harriet Island. All four previous winners will be present including defending champions from 2015, St. Paul Grill and Paddy Shack as well as 2014 champions B52 Burgers & Brew and Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille. More than twenty other restaurants from will join them from across the Twin Cities to compete for this year’s bragging rights.
Tickets go on sale April 5 at www.tcburgerbattle.com. The $55 all-inclusive entry gives attendees access to every competitor’s burger offering, a token to vote for their favorite entry, local beers plus live local music. Attendees must be 21+ and the event hopes to draw 2,500 people.
The event partners with local non-profit, The Sanneh Foundation, which is a St. Paul-based youth development organization founded by St. Paul native and former U.S. World Cup soccer player Tony Sanneh. COLOR VIBE 5k- October 15, 2016
The most colorful fun-filled event is coming to Saint Paul! The Color Vibe 5k Run/Walk will be at Harriet Island on 10/15/16! Come run/walk through various colors and celebrate your accomplishment at the color throw after party. Kids 12 and younger are free!
