Providing tens of thousands of meals and snacks to students throughout the year, the Free Meals Program continues to expand.
Lush greens, challenging fairways, and vivid landscapes can be found at all of our beautifully maintained golf courses. Saint Paul Parks and Recreation grooms each course and welcomes golfers daily. Food, beverages, and power carts are available.

No-School Day Programs
Saint Paul Parks and Recreation offers fun and engaging programs during winter and spring breaks, MEA week, and other days when Saint Paul Public Schools are not in session.
Open gym times are free and no registration is necessary. Times may be restricted by age, such as high school or adult-only, or by activity, such as pickleball or volleyball.

Right Track provides summer jobs and internships for Saint Paul youth ages 14-21 who are from a low-income family or have a barrier to employment.

Sprockets is a network of many different after-school and summer programs for youth in Saint Paul. It is a collaboration of community organizations, the City of Saint Paul, and Saint Paul Public Schools.
Summer Blast is a free afternoon program for youth that will be entering grades 1-6 in the fall. Most locations are Monday-Thursday, 1pm-4pm. Activities include crafts, art, tennis, cooking, swimming, gym games, water fun, outdoor nature activities, outdoor play, fitness, kitchen science and more.

Tot time is an unstructured, drop-in playtime at recreation center gyms for children 5 years or younger and their caregivers. Equipment varies from site to site. Tumbling mats, small slides, small wheeled bikes, scooters and balls are available at most sites. Children must supervised by an adult at all times.
Youth Commissioners practice youth adult partnership with other Saint Paul youth, city officials, and community organizations to solve community issues and make Saint Paul the most livable city in America.
