Application Requirements
You will need to submit one or more of the following permit applications in PAULIE:
- Commercial Accessibility Lift Elevating Device Permit
- Commercial Dumbwaiter Elevating Device Permit
- Commercial Escalator or Moving Walk Elevating Device Permit
- Commercial Freight Elevating Device Permit
- Commercial Limited Use Limited Access Elevator Permit
- Commercial Passenger Elevating Device Permit
- Commercial Material Lift Permit
- Commercial Other Elevating Device Permit
- Private Residence Limited Use Limited Access Elevator Permit
- Private Residence Miscellaneous Elevating Device Permit
- Private Residence Mobility-Impaired Lift Permit
- Private Residence Passenger Elevating Device Permit
- Private Residence Stairchair Lift Permit
You will also need:
- The required fee
Inspections
- This permit requires an inspection approval by the City Elevator Inspector.
- The vertical transportation device will then require an Annual Inspection and certification.
