Overview

This license is for dealers who sell solid fuel (e.g. coal, lignite, briquettes, coke, firewood, and other solid matter commonly used for heating purposes). If you have questions, contact DSI at 651-266-8989, or email the DSI Message Center.

Application Requirements

Apply online at PAULIE*

  • Information needed for online applications:
    • Certificate of insurance: $5,000 property damage per vehicle or surety bond in the amount of $5,000 conditioned that licensee shall pay any and all final judgments for damage to property, public, or private

Inspections

A Solid Fuel Dealer License requires inspection approvals from Licensing (Phone: 651-266-8989) and Zoning (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration & Renewal

A Solid Fuel Dealer License expires one year from the date of issue and may be renewed annually.
