Overview

This license is for the renting of trailers to the public, designed to be attached to the lessee's motor vehicle and for the use of which the lessee is charged a fee. If you have questions, contact DSI at 651-266-8989, or email the DSI Message Center.

  • Information needed for your online application:
    • Proof of current Secretary of State registration and Assumed Name Filing
    • Business Purchase Agreement (Only for Change of Ownership applications)
    • Property Lease / rental agreement or proof of ownership
    • Site/Floor Plan

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from Licensing (Phone: 651-266-8989) and Zoning (Phone: 651-266-9008).

Expiration/Renewal

A Rental of Trailers License expires one year from the date of issue and may be renewed annually.
